The 7-eleven lady asked me how much change I wanted?!

Up early for work and I my eyes weren't ready to see the light. Yep, it was one of those Rockstar run days. I try really hard to stay away from that energy drink stuff but man, I felt I needed a jolt of something to boost my levels.
Found myself at the cash register of a local 7-Eleven as I faced the lady cashier - she was perhaps 50-something - who was busy talking on her cell phone as she rang up my drinks. So far so good. I was about ready to zip out of the place when she handed my change to me. My heart stopped for some reason. It's as if my man radar was somehow alerting me before my mind realized the phone-talking lady had not given me enough change.
"Not enough. Still not enough!" (remember that line from Aladdin's Genie?). I looked down with disappointment. You know that feeling you get when the barista makes you're drink wrong? I had that exact emotion run through my body! She didn't speak english well so that didn't help the matter. With two patient customers behind, I spent about 5 minutes trying to figure out what she was doing here. Finally she said "how much do you want?" Puzzled out of my mind and after a brief pause I replied "what do you mean?". With a thick accent she repeated "how much do you want? You want more discount?" I couldn't believe this. In my history of gas station visits, not a single soul has asked me how much money I want them to give me. This was just amazing.
Isn't that kinda how God works? He comes into our lives with His incredible self, shows us His love, and says "how much do you want?" But his question doesn't involve the change lodged between your couch cushions. It's the change that transforms us through a closer and deeper relationship with Him. This is the change that can cause us to pause in disbelif. It's also the change every breathing, beating heart desires.
If you're daily cry is "God I want more of you", let me ask you this: how much CHANGE do you want?
